Fake babies

by Livia Iacolare on January 10, 2008

There are companies that produce silicon sex dolls and sell them at $10.000. They totally look like real women (except for the fact that they don’t ask you for money, they don’t talk, they don’t care whether you are clean or not and they don’t need to shave). They just do *that*. And who cares anyway.

But recently some companies started producing fake babies. Some have heartbeats and warm skin and appear to breathe. Some burp and cry and wiggle. You can customize them.

There are men and women who are obsessed about them and like to take them around with strollers.

Creepy.

It’s the depersonalization that’s creepiest of all. They call them “sculpts”.

Truly perverted.

I make reborn dolls and think of it more of a hobby and an obsession.

I have always like dolls, fake babies are just a really pretty lifelike doll to me.
