FemCamp Bologna: the first BarCamp dedicated to women and technology

BarCamps are really growing like mushrooms. FemCamp is special, though, since it’s the first one dedicated to women that use new technologies (and vice versa - why not?). Live video streaming rocks!
This morning I read the excellent review of Mogulus written by my dear friend Michael Pick. I am absolutely ecstatic. This service is really going to become the most interesting live video streaming platform on the Web. I myself am thinking about using it in the future to stream live events. The potential for citizen journalism is incommensurable. Although still in private beta, Mogulus already shows amazing features. The following is the official video released by Mogulus. Check out Michael’s article and screencasts to know more.
Apple’s next products
I found this funny slideshow that collects some ideas for Steve Jobs. I would not be surprised if some of them were actually taken in consideration… I absolutely dig the lovely iPottie with the available options “Number 1“, “Number 2“, “Read paper“.
Twitter or Jaiku?
It seems to be the dilemma of the week… I have to be honest: I tried to sign up for Jaiku, but the idea of joining another network filled with people who shoot messages every five seconds scares me a lot. So far, Twitter is cute and doesn’t stress me yet. I am not affected by compulsive twittering and I am a person who rarely gets addicted to something (sauf Nutella). Therefore, I am aware of the fact that I might be a freak.
